Dokimi (previously LoadFire) is an open-source scalability benchmarking tool, composed of a robust load driver, a system metrics monitoring framework and implementation of a set of ML, stats and feedback control algorithms. Dokimi (previously LoadFire) is inspired by research work on control theory at Sun Microsystems. Please look at reference papers in the README (from the source tree), as well as the source code for details.
This is work very much in progress, code is alpha quality but it’s buildable and runs on specific workloads (e.g. SPEC benchmarks). Trunk will always carry the latest bits, branches will be updated with stable releases. The initial source drop comes from open source bits from Sun Microsystems and Apache (Mahout), with contribs from Adam Tien, Julian Song, Jean-Marc Houlet and Anand Singh.
